Chipcap is the next generation relative humidity and temperature sensor for climate control, instrumentation, medical equipment and white goods applications.

Based on a capacitive polymer sensing technology, this new device from GE offers signal conditioning and temperature compensation for a single System-on-Chip solution, available with either digital or analogue outputs.

Integrated into an industry standard surface mount SOIC package measuring less than 10mm and with precision accuracy of ±2%RH and ±0.6°C this device can be soldered using standard reflow ovens. It is very simple to use and is fully tested and calibrated for accuracy on delivery - no further calibration required.
